Minako has the honor of being Naoko-san's very FIRST Sailor Senshi. Her comic, Code Name Wa Sailor V, appeared before Sailor Moon began. It was originally about Minako, her cat Artemis and her mysterious "ally", Kaitou Ace.
Sailor V was worked into the Sailor Moon storyline however. She was an idol to Usagi and the others and they were quite surprised when she saved them from Kunzite in episode 33. It was revealed that she was Sailor Venus and that she was also searching for the Princess.
Why I like Minako
For starters, Minako has a great personality. She's friendly, helpful and just a very happy person in general. Of course she's very sad on the inside...aww...
Isn't she beautiful?
Second, her abilities. In the manga, Venus is the designated leader of the Inner Senshi and she rises to the occasion.
And lastly...Venus is cute, sexy and hot all at the same time! ^_^
