Melfina is the bio-android in Outlaw Star who makes the ship capable of navigation. Sure, Gene pilots it but Melfina is also your power source. Without her, how are you gonna get where you're going?

Gene first finds her when he is running from pirates with Hilda. She has stolen Melfina from them because Melfina will be able to lead people to the Galactic Layline. So the first time you see Melfina, she's nude and in a suitcase-like box...O_o

Why I like Melfina

Well Melfina can cook, and she can do it good too. She's also very sweet and caring. She's very innocent too. Whenever Melfina is sad because she doesn't have information on herself it makes me sad... too...and let us not forget! She's K...A...W...AII
